Constitution Day
On September 17, 1787, the Constitutional Convention adjourned after voting to approve the Constitution they has spent four months drafting. Each September is now called “Constitution Day” and schools and colleges are required by law to recognize it in some manner in order to help prepare our students with the information necessary for effective citizenship. Below are links to several organizations to assist you, your school, your family and neighbors to celebrate and learn about the Constitution, which rests on “We the People”.

Produce a Musical About the Constitutional Convention
Listen to the songs of “Convention: the Birth of America ©”, which is about the 1787 U.S. Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia. Although the musical, as narrated by Benjamin Franklin, is historically accurate as to events and the delegates, it also is laden with fun. If you want to produce it, contact Judge Jim Gray at judgejimgray.com.
